Air Quality and Ventilation Requirements

• HEPA filtration: High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters capable of removing ≥99.97% of particles ≥0.3 microns.

• Incoming air for PE must be HEPA-filtered.

• 100% outside air supply preferred; no recirculation unless HEPA-filtered.

• Exhaust air for AIIR must also pass through HEPA filters if not discharged directly outside.

• Minimum 12 air changes per hour (ACH) for both patient room and anteroom.

• Patient room to be positive pressure

• Anteroom to be negative pressure relative to both patient room and corridor​
