Air Quality and Ventilation Requirements

• HEPA filtration: High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters capable of removing ≥99.97% of particles ≥0.3 microns.

• Minimum 12 air changes per hour (ACH): Ensures clean air is circulated frequently.

• Positive pressure ventilation: Air flows out of the room to prevent outside air (which may carry pathogens) from entering.

• Sealed room construction: Limits infiltration of unfiltered air through windows, doors, or cracks.
